ring sizes

Kirsten offers full standard UK ring sizes from H – Z and also makes rings in half sizes.  If you’re unsure of your ring size, read Kirsten's ring sizing guide here. Alternatively, you can visit your local jewellers to have them measure your finger.

Bangle Sizes

Most Kirsten Manzi Jewellery bangles are solid and therefore measured by diameter. Kirsten lists bangles in three standard sizes (but they can be made to any size):

Small - Diameter 63mm
Medium - Diameter 67mm
Large - Circumference 72mm

If you are unsure which size you need, you can measure the diameter of a bangle that already fits. Make sure it fits over your hand when your hand is made as narrow as possible (tuck your thumb into your fingers.) Alternatively, you can visit your local jewellers to have your hand and wrist measured.

For standard orders contact Kirsten as soon as possible. If the correct size is in stock Kirsten will offer you an exchange otherwise your item will be resized.

For custom orders that can be resized contact Kirsten as soon as possible to have your item resized. Unfortunately, Kirsten cannot offer refunds or exchanges for custom and bespoke orders or commissions.

What is recycled silver?

Excluding chains and findings, all silver Kirsten Manzi Jewellery is made using 100% Recycled Silver. Recycled Silver or "Eco Silver" is an eco-friendly alternative to mined Sterling Silver. It is made using recycled silver products such as jewellery, medical equipment, electronics and giftware. These items are melted down and turned into silver wire and sheet which Kirsten then uses to create silver jewellery. Recycled silver is still sterling silver so looks no different and can be hallmarked as sterling (925).

Kirsten works in a variety of precious metals but mainly silver and gold.
All Kirsten Manzi Jewellery pieces can be commissioned in 9ct and 18ct white, yellow and rose gold. Bespoke and custom orders can be made using your choice of precious metal.

What is the black colouring on some of your jewellery?

The black effect is called oxidation. Oxidation can be deliberate or naturally occurring.  Deliberate oxidation is created by applying a chemical to the surface of the silver to create a deep black colour. Oxidised Kirsten Manzi Jewellery is finished with wax to protect the black finish. Do not try to polish deliberately oxidised silver jewellery as you will risk losing the black finish.

Silver jewellery will oxidise naturally over time - this is usually described as tarnish.  Tarnishing is a property of silver metal. Sterling silver is made up of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% of other metals, usually copper.  The copper reacts to moisture and sulfur in the air, causing the silver to tarnish.

To prevent tarnishing, store your jewellery in a resealable bag, pouch or box.  You can clean tarnished silver using lukewarm water and a soft brush, dry thoroughly and polish with a soft polishing cloth.
