Buy Jewellery & Plant A Tree
Earlier this year, I was one of many businesses to take the Fair Luxury Pledge:
“Within the next six months, Kirsten Manzi Jewellery will give back by supporting initiatives that benefit artisanal small scale miners or the environment.”
Over the past few months, I've been researching charities and organisations that can help me do this and I'm pleased to say that I've started to implement changes within my business that align with my pledge. The main one so far is to offset the business carbon footprint by planting trees:
“For every order or commission over £100, I’ll plant one tree to help grow new forests throughout the UK. ”
Each tree will make a small yet tangible impact in reversing climate change and will support sustainable reforestation that encourages biodiversity throughout the UK.
If you've ordered from me in 2021, your order has made a difference. I'm backdating this to the start of the year and have 12 trees to plant so far. Here's to many more.

Environmental Impact
Planting trees to offset carbon footprint and support reforestation in the UK
Using renewable energy in my home and workshop
Using 100% recycled precious metals wherever possible
Social Impact
Offering customers Fairtrade metals sourced exclusively from responsibly-run mines, where miners are paid a fair price for their gold and can invest in their communities
Offering customers Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold which can be traced back to one responsible conflict-free mine
Donating to local charities as well as charities that support miners
